We hope we will get a return and that child will grow up to be part of a functioning society to continue to educate future generations.<br />The number of parents across the nation who attend Parent Teacher night or Open House are in the minority and in many schools such as High Schools, they are very much the minority. Attendance at such events has been shown by the research to be a very good predictor of educational achievement and therefore should be encouraged.Mark W. Your philosophy seems to based in looking at a child and expecting the worst, when often what you find is a mind that's excited to learn.
